PHILIPPINE SALO-SALO: A CULINARY CELEBRATION OF FILIPINO HERITAGE AT THE GRAND MERCURE ROXY HOTEL SINGAPORE

9 April 2024, Singapore – In celebration of the Filipino Food Month or Buwan ng Kalutong Pilipino with the theme, “Engaging the Youth in Shaping the Future of Philippine Culinary Heritage and Gastronomy;” and National Literature Month (NLM) with the theme, “Ang Panitikan at Kapayapaan” this April, and in commemoration of the 55th anniversary of the Philippines-Singapore diplomatic relations, the Philippine Embassy in Singapore, in collaboration with Feast Asia of the Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel Singapore, will hold the ten-day Philippine Salo-Salo: A Culinary Celebration of Filipino Heritage lunch and dinner buffet* on 12-21 April 2024 at Feast Asia, Level 3 Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy, 50 East Coast Road Singapore 428769.

Especially curated by Filipino chef Edward Lim, Executive Chef and co-director of My Little Spanish Place, local and international communities will be able to taste authentic Filipino cuisine and experience Filipino culture through this offering.

During weekends, shoppers, visitors, and dining guests will be treated to experience workshops and activities organized by the Philippine Embassy in Singapore and a chance to take home local and Filipino products by Filipino entrepreneurs.
