13 July 2018 – Deputy Administrator Arnell A. Ignacio of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) paid a courtesy call on Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Joseph Del Mar Yap at the Embassy on 25 June 2018. Their discussions focused on various welfare issues faced by Filipino household service workers (HSWs) and professionals in Singapore. DA Ignacio also briefed Ambassador Yap on the various OWWA programs and services that are available for Filipino workers in Singapore. He also conveyed his interest and commitment to help solve welfare concerns of OFWs in Singapore by raising awareness and participation through social media.
