Millennials’ Voices opens at Di Legno Gallery Singapore

Millennials’ Voices, a group exhibition, was officially opened by Philippine Ambassador Antonio A. Morales at the Di Legno Gallery at 188-6 Tanjong Katong Road, Singapore, on Friday, 22 September 2017. It is the fourth exhibition under this year’s edition of Philippine Art Trek in Singapore. A total of 13 artists contributed to Millennials’ Voices. In this group exhibition, the artists explored the impact of current events and advances in technology to millennials. The artists express in their works facets of life and how the millennial generation respond or adapt to the opportunities and challenges in today’s world that is mostly defined by instant gratification, unpredictable developments and mind-boggling array of gadgets.

In his opening remarks, Ambassador Morales thanked Di Legno Gallery for its consistent support to the Philippine Art Trek series. He noted that more than being an art exhibition, Millennial’s Voices also provides a better understanding of the kind of life that millennials are currently going through. Ambassador Morales also expressed his gratitude to those who supported the project, which he commended for having been sustained for already more than a decade.
