28 December 2022, Singapore – The Philippine Embassy in Singapore organized a two-part lecture on Singapore’s family justice system which was attended by Embassy frontline personnel.

Held on 16 and 21 December 2022 at the Philippine Embassy, the training delved into Singapore’s family court proceedings in relation to family-related concerns such as custody and child abduction, adoption, guardianship, citizenship, probate, letters of administration, divorce, family maintenance and domestic violence, among others.

The training aims to equip Embassy frontline personnel with information to respond to general queries from the public on the aforementioned topics.

Such capacity-building efforts of the Embassy are in support of the Philippine government’s commitment to eliminate all forms of violence perpetrated against Filipino women and children, both in the Philippines and abroad.

The discussion was ably facilitated by Atty. Richard Siaw and Atty. Loo Liang Zhi of R.S. Solomon LLC,  full-service law practice in Singapore (END).
