(3 November 2023, Singapore) – Personnel of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore participated in the Bayanihan Walk 2023, a 3.8 kilometer fun walk to and from the Bayanihan Center in Pasir Panjang and around Hort Park, organized by the Philippine Bayanihan Society Singapore (PBSS), on Sunday, 29 October 2023.
This year’s theme, “Balik-Bayanihan,” saw the resumption of a full physical activity, after two years of virtual and hybrid “walks” due to COVID-19. More than 300 participating walkers and volunteers from different Filipino community organizations, locals, and expats residing in Singapore joined the half-day activity.
Now in its 8th year, the annual walk-for-a-cause signature event of PBSS aims to raise funds for its various projects, while serving as a platform to promote health and well-being while fostering camaraderie among the Filipino community and locals alike. END
