Filipino youth is proud Recipient of award from Singapore Red Cross

Filipino national Dominique Anne Surato Aluquin was one of three (3) outstanding youths chosen to receive the Singapore Red Cross (SRC) President’s Youth Award in a ceremony held on 6 October 2015 at the SRC Home for the Disabled. The youth awardees joined 25 individuals and 6 organisations recognized for their significant contributions to vulnerable members of the community. The youth awardees were selected from over 800 graduating Red Cross Youth cadets based on wide-ranging criteria that included leadership qualities, global perspectives, excellence in academics and service to the Red Cross Youth. In addition to the youth awards, four SRC Distinguished Service Awards, four SRC Outstanding Service Awards, 14 SRC Commendation Awards, and six Friends of SRC Awards were given out. SRC Patron President Tony Tan Keng Yam presented the awards. Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales joined his counterparts from other diplomatic missions in the awarding ceremony.
