17 September 2019- The Philippine Embassy in Singapore successfully opened Art Trek 13’s fourth exhibit “Beauty and Youth Side B,” which was organized by Momentous Arts in a pop-art gallery at Tanglin Mall. Curator Allan Teo brought the strong urban vibe ambiance of Manila to a cozy corner of Tanglin Mall.
The art works of the following contemporary Filipino artists were featured in the exhibit: Jan Calleja, Janos dela Cruz, BeejayEsber, Pete Jimenez, Raul Jorola, Marilou Solano and Stephen Taneo.
The quirky and interesting art pieces-paintings, sculptures and collectible art toys displayed at the exhibit drew attention of art oficionados.
“Beauty and Youth Side B” is the fourth exhibit of Art Trek this year.
Art Trek, which is already on its 13th year, is a yearly event organized by the Philippine Embassy in collaboration with various Singapore galleries to showcase and promote Philippine art in Singapore. This is the centrepiece of the Embassy’s cultural diplomacy program. END
