25 April 2023, Singapore – Singapore Foreign Minister Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan visited the Philippine Embassy this morning to sign, on behalf of the Government of Singapore, the condolence book in honor of former Philippine Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Albert F. del Rosario.
After signing the condolence book, Minister Balakrishnan conveyed to Ambassador Medardo G. Macaraig his deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolence to the Government and people of the Philippines.
Minister Balakrishnan fondly recalls former SFA del Rosario as a distinguished diplomat and an exemplary leader who will be remembered for his commitment to the nation. Secretary del Rosario and Minister Balakrishnan served at the same time as their countries’ Foreign Ministers from October 2015 until the former’s retirement from the service in March 2016 (END).
