Officials of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore led by Ambassador Antonio A. Morales joined the Batangas Varsitarians International (BVI) Singapore Chapter during its 16th anniversary celebration at the Cherry Loft Resort in Pasir Ris, Singapore on 9 September 2017. Ambassador Morales was joined by Consul Mersole J. Mellejor and Vice Consul Laarni Zorayda Gandarosa and representatives of PNB, Metro Remittance and LBC Singapore.
BVI Singapore is one of the most active Filipino community (Filcom) organizations in Singapore and is known for its close relations other organizations. Its members are equally recognized for their voluntary services within the community.
In his brief remarks, Ambassador Morales thanked BVI Singapore for assisting the Embassy in its major activities particularly the Overseas Voting and during the visit of President Rodrigo R. Duterte in December 2016.
Ambassador Morales extended his best wishes to BVI Singapore and said the Philippine Embassy looks forward to an even stronger partnership with BVI Singapore in the future.
