Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales took part in the 10th edition of the OSIM Sundown Marathon in Singapore on Saturday, 25 March 2017. This year’s marathon, which drew some 27,000 runners, consisted of the 10km, 21.1km and 42.195km competitive categories, as well as a Sundown 5km Earth Hour Run that took place as part of the Earth Hour celebrations for the first time. The initiative of Ambassador Morales is part of the Embassy’s overall effort to promote healthy lifestyle among members of the Filipino community in Singapore as well as raise awareness on the importance of energy conservation and support the global campaign to help fight global warming and promote environmental protection. On 26 April 2017, the Philippine Embassy in Singapore is organizing an ASEAN Friendly Golf Game as part of activities to observe the golden jubilee of ASEAN under the Philippine chairmanship.
