The first Post-arrival Orientation Seminar (PAOS) was conducted at the Philippine Bayanihan Centre at Pasir Panjang Road on 21 and 28 February 2016. The event was jointly organized by the Philippine Overseas Labour Office Singapore (POLO) led by Labor Attaché Ramon Tionloc Jr. POLO is an attached agency to the Philippine Embassy. During the PAOS, which is intended for newly-arrived overseas Filipino overseas workers, participants were briefed on the various services provided by the Philippine Embassy and its attached agencies and tips on how to make their stay in Singapore a safe, successful and worthwhile experience. Minister and Consul General Victorio Mario M. Dimagiba Jr. also reminded Filipino overseas voters (OVs) to vote early during the May 2016 elections. The next PAOS will be held in April 2016.
