Forum on business opportunities in PHL

itb27 July 2016 – Philippine Embassy officials were the keynote presenters at a forum on business opportunities in the Philippines organized by the International Trade Council (ITC). The forum was attended by over 130 heads and representatives of firms, businesses, and small and medium enterprises in Singapore.

Ambassador Antonio A. Morales, Philippine Trade Counsellor Glenn Peñaranda, Philippine National Bank (Singapore) General Manager and Regional Head for Asia and Oceania Region Cristy Vicentina, and Attorney Gmeleen Tomboc presented overviews on the Philippines’ foreign direct investment climate, top investment sectors, Philippine foreign exchange projections, legal requirements for foreign companies setting up in the Philippines and basic information on visa requirements for visiting foreign businessmen and entrepreneurs.

The International Trade Council is an organization of executives, entrepreneurs, private individuals and associated groups in Singapore that promotes domestic and international trade concerns.
