5 March 2023, Singapore – The Philippine Embassy in Singapore – Filipino Community Relations Section, along with the attached agencies, DMW and OWWA, joined Aidha in its celebration of International Women’s Day as it inaugurates its new campus at Catapult on 5 March 2023 with festivities including free financial education workshops and enrichment activities for migrant domestic workers (MDWs).
Aidha is a community that helps empower and uplift MDWs and other low-income women in Singapore through financial education. It first resumed its physical classes by holding courses with at the Foreign Domestic Worker Association for Social Support and Training (FAST) Hub before signing on a partnership with Catapult, Southeast Asia’s first and only leadership learning and training hub designed to groom Asia’s next-generation leaders through immersive, experiential and impactful learning journeys.
