19 May 2023, Singapore – Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Medardo G. Macaraig welcomed to the Official Residence a Congressional delegation led by Representative Jose Francisco “Kiko” B. Benitez (3rd Dirtrict, Negros Occidental), Chairperson of the House Committee on Housing and Urban Development, on 17 May 2023.
Other members of the delegation included Vice Chairperson Maria Victoria Co-Pilar (6th District, Quezon City) and Vice Chairperson Ivan Howard A. Guintu (Pinuno Party List).
The Philippine Ambassador also hosted a welcome dinner for the delegation following their courtesy call.
The delegation is currently in Singapore for a study visit to meet with relevant Singapore government agencies, research organizations and advisory bodies to learn from Singapore’s experience in addressing housing needs, innovation, and transformation into a smart and sustainable city-state.
