Minister and Consul General Victorio Mario M. Dimagiba Jr. presided the 5th Filipino Community (Filcom) Leaders’ Meeting in Singapore at the Philippine Embassy at 20 Nassim Road in his capacity as Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. on 23 September 2017.
Around a hundred representatives from various Filcom organizations in Singapore attended the event, which is held once every two months. During the meeting, Minister and Consul General Dimagiba thanked the community for sparing a little of their precious time to meet with fellow Filcom leaders.
The heads of the various sections of the Philippine Embassy provided important updates on services of the Embassy followed by announcement on activities involving the Filcom in Singapore.
The meeting was preceded by a networking “Kapihan” and concluded with a lunch arranged by the Philippine Overseas Labour Office. The next Filcom Leaders’ meeting will be held in November 2017.
