The Philippine Embassy sends its warmest felicitations to the Republic of Singapore on the occasion of its 58th National Day today, 9 August 2023.
Singapore is our ASEAN brother, a close friend and valued partner. More importantly, it serves as second HOME to more than 200,000 Filipinos living and working in the city-state.
For nearly 55 years now, the Philippines and Singapore have been working hand-in-hand to achieve their common goals and aspirations.
The Philippines resonates with Singapore’s 2023 National Day theme “Onward as One” and recognizes the importance of working together to shape a shared and united destiny.
Our longstanding friendship with Singapore continues to flourish in various areas, including economic development, defense and security, and people-to-people ties.
