Philippine Embassy receives new set of officers of IIEE Singapore Chapter

Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales on Monday, 22 May 2017, administered the oathtaking ceremony of the new set of officers of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE) Singapore Chapter at the Philippine chancery. The new set of officers will be in office from 2017 to 2018. Prior to the ceremony, the IIEE officers and Ambassador Morales had a discussion on the possibility of installing an air-conditioning system in the public area of the Embassy. There was also an exchange of views on IIEE’s request for the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to conduct licensure examinations for electrical engineers and related professions as well as other qualification testing in Singapore. Ambassador Morales was joined by First Secretary and Consul Mersole J. Mellejor and Acting Labour Attaché Ramon Pastrana. PRC is now under the Department of Labour and Employment (DOLE).
