Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales attended the Ship for Southeast Asia Youth Program (SSEAYP) Day celebration on 8 October 2016 at the SCAPE, Singapore. Dr. Maliki Bin Osman, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mayor, South East District, was Guest of Honour. Heads of Missions and representatives of diplomatic missions of ASEAN Member States and the Embassy of Japan in Singapore as well as various ASEAN and Japanese youth organizations attended the event. SSYEAP is an annual youth exchange program organized by the Cabinet Office of Japan (CaO) and governments of Southeast Asian countries for the purpose of promoting friendship and mutual understanding among the youths of ASEAN Member States and Japan with the objective of broadening their perspective on the world and strengthen their spirit of international cooperation and practical skills for international collaboration.
