(28 February 2023, Singapore) Philippine Ambassador Medardo G. Macaraig called on H.E. Sok Khoeun, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Singapore on 23 February 2023 at the Official Residence of the Cambodian Ambassador.
Both Ambassadors acknowledged that the Philippines and Cambodia enjoy warm ties, both bilaterally and in the context of ASEAN. Both countries have been steadfast partners for 65 years. Ambassador Macaraig and Ambassador Sok Khoeun also noted the steady growth of Philippines-Cambodia trade relations and looked forward to enhancing them as both countries emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ambassador Macaraig also conveyed his congratulations to Cambodia for its successful hosting of ASEAN Chairmanship in 2022.(END).
