On 20 July 2017, Mr. Sujit Mittra, the Joint Managing Director and Co-Founder and of Premier Hotels of Asia, called on Ambassador Antonio A. Morales at the Philippine Embassy in Singapore. Mr. Mittra is also a Member of the Board of ASKI Global Limited Singapore, which provides financial literacy training for overseas Filipino workers in Singapore. During the call, Mr. Mittra conveyed to Ambassador Morales his interest to work with partners in the Philippines. Premier Hotels of Asia carries big names in the hotel industry including the Mandarin chain. Ambassador Morales thanked Mr. Mittra for his visit and introduced the possibility of having Premier Hotels of Asia being involved in Philippine tourism roadshows, which bring together top representative of the Philippine hotel and travel industry to events in Singapore. Under Ambassador Morales, tourism promotion remains a priority in the economic diplomacy activities of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore.
