On 27 May 2015, Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales, together with representatives of the Philippine Embassy and members from the Filipino community in Singapore cheered the Philippines’ Top Football Club – Global FC in its match with the Singapore-based Hougang United FC during the Preliminary Round of the RHB Singapore Cup 2015. Global FC went on to defeat Hougang United FC with a 2-1 score and will move on to the Quarter Finals. The tournament was organized by the Football Association of Singapore.
