The 1st Meeting to prepare for this year’s ASEAN Gala Night in Singapore convened at the Philippine chancery on Thursday, 3 August 2017. Minister and Consul General Victorio Mario M. Dimagiba Jr., presided the Meeting for the Philippine Embassy, which is organizing the event during the Philippine chairmanship of ASEAN. The annual event, held near the end of November showcases the best of ASEAN culture through performances and representative cuisine in booths set up by each ASEAN diplomatic mission in Singapore. The Gala Night brings together officials of the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the diplomatic missions of ASEAN Member States and ASEAN dialogue partners and representatives of ASEAN communities in Singapore.
