20 March 2017 – Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales received a delegation from AIMS Learning International, led by Ms. Shirley Arcenal Abaja, President/CEO and Head of Academics, on 17 March 2017 at the chancery.

During the call, Ms. Abaja said that AIMS Learning International will be providing scholarship grants to deserving OFWs in Singapore who are interested to pursue any of its program offerings.

This scholarship grant is made possible through the sponsorship of PLDT, LBC and PNB – all Philippine-owned companies with country offices in Singapore.

As a gesture of goodwill, AIMS Learning International also offered five (5) scholarship grants to interested Embassy personnel.

Ambassador Morales conveyed his appreciation to AIMS Learning International, as well as to PLDT, LBC and PNB, for making these scholarship grants possible. “Hopefully, this will encourage more of our kababayans in Singapore to further their skills and training,” he added.

Ambassador Morales also encouraged AIMS Learning International to consider offering a program on entrepreneurship in conjunction with the Philippine government’s thrust of encouraging OFWs financial literacy and management.

AIMS Learning International is a private Skills Training Provider in Singapore that offers, among others, Practical Nursing Care, Computer Literacy, Practical Advance Physical Therapy, Practical Hotel & Restaurant Management, Dressmaking & Tailoring, and Hair & Make-up.

It is planning to officially launch its office on 02 April, while the commencement exercises of its newest batch of graduates will be on 30 April 2017.
