4 April 2023, Singapore – The Philippine Embassy in Singapore held an awarding ceremony on Sunday, 2 April 2023, for the winners of the “Filipinas Can? Can!” Photo Contest in celebration of the 2023 National Women’s Month.
Ms. Bobette Mangaoang Oguis who won first prize for her photo entry entitled “In the Modern Kaleidoscope World” was awarded with a Certificate of Recognition by Ambassador Medardo G. Macaraig, Third Secretary and Vice Consul Jhullie Anne A. Beniahan, the Embassy’s Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Person, and Welfare Officer Ms. Marivic C. Clarin. She also received the #DigitALL Bundle containing a medium-size traveling bag, a powerbank, wireless earphones, phone stand and charging cables.
The two runner-up winners, Ms. Janelyn Dupingay Vergara and Ms. Cristina Villagawan Belingon, each received a Certificate of Participation and a surprise gift from the Embassy.
The Philippine Embassy will give Certificates of Participation to all those who joined the photo contest as a token of appreciation for their active support of the Embassy’s activities and events. Two of the participants who were present during the Ceremony were Ms. Jeanette Camilo Cariso and Ms. Gemma Ortiz. (END).
