The Philippine Embassy in Singapore has been alerted on the existence of  an online platform that is facilitating the supply of Filipino Household Service Workers (HSWs) to Singapore by actively soliciting, enlisting, and advertising them to potential employers online. 

This website is publicly posting profiles containing sensitive information of applicants, with the aim of providing immediate and accessible reference for employers seeking to hire domestic workers.

Please be informed that said website is neither connected with the Embassy nor with any of its attached agencies. 

The Embassy reminds the public that the recruitment and deployment of Filipino HSWs should only be coursed through a Singapore recruitment agency which is duly accredited by the Philippine Government, through the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) – Singapore. 

Further, the Embassy informs the public, particularly Filipino nationals planning to work overseas, to be cautious against individuals offering employment opportunities abroad and to only engage Philippine recruitment agencies which are licensed by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) to avoid falling victim to illegal recruitment schemes.

The Embassy continues to remind all concerned that illegal recruitment is a serious legal offense under both Philippine and Singapore laws.
