26 June 2020 – After donating 200 units of COVID-19 diagnostic kits (equivalent to 40,000 tests) and 2 ventilators last March, Temasek Foundation donated this time 100 oxygen concentrators to various local government hospitals in the Philippines.

Forty (40) of the oxygen concentrators were given to the Department of Health while 20 each were given to local government hospitals in Quezon City, Manila, and Davao.

The oxygen concentrators arrived in the Philippines on 20 June, cleared by Customs on 22 June, and were finally turned over to the various recipients on 25 June.

An oxygen concentrator is a medical-grade non-invasive breathing aid that is useful in treating COVID-19 patients with respiratory conditions.

Temasek Foundation is the non-profit organization under the philanthropic arm of Temasek Holdings, Singapore’s state sovereign fund. END
