(21 March 2024, Singapore) The Philippine Embassy in Singapore welcomed a delegation from the Department of Health (DOH), led by Secretary Teodoro Herbosa, who visited Singapore on 18-20 March 2024.
While in Singapore, Secretary Herbosa met with his counterpart, Singapore Minister of Health Ong Ye Kung, to discuss health cooperation between the Philippines and Singapore. With support and arrangements made by Singapore’s Ministry of Health, the DOH delegation also attended briefings and conducted visits to the country’s public health institutions, including polyclinics.
Secretary Herbosa also served as Keynote Speaker at the 2024 Bloomberg Initiative to Reduce Tobacco Use Partner Meeting held in Singapore on 20 March 2024.
Philippine Ambassador Medardo G. Macaraig also hosted dinner for Secretary Herbosa and his delegation on 18 March 2024 at the Official Residence (END).
