Presidents of Three State Universities visit the Philippine Embassy in Singapore

Officials of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore headed by Ambassador Antonio A. Morales, conducted a briefing for a delegation composed of Presidents of state universities in the Philippines and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) at the Philippine Embassy in Singapore on Tuesday, 11 July 2017. The delegation is in Singapore to conduct a familiarization tour on gender mainstreaming as part of preparations for the ASEAN Integration Working Group Conference on Gender Mainstreaming in Higher Education, which CHED is hosting in October 2017 as part of ASEAN 50 activities in the Philippines.

During the briefing, the heads of the various sections of the Philippine Embassy and the attached agencies provided the delegation with an overview of their respective functions and gave an update on relevant programs and developments. Ambassador Morales hosted the group to lunch at his official residence. While in Singapore, the delegation met with officials of the Singapore Ministry of Education.
