Mr. Jerome Patrick Cruz of the Ateneo de Manila University – Department of Economics spoke on the persistent inequality in the Philippines during the Workshop on Inequality and Exclusion in Southeast Asia, held at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) Yusok Ishak Institute on 25 July 2019. The event was co-organized by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.

The workshop presented the cases of eight (8) Southeast Asia countries including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Myanmar. Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines. Each study provided an overview of inequality in income, wealth and opportunity. END
