34 Overseas Filipinos in Singapore Pass SPLE

21 December 2018 – Ambassador Joseph Del Mar Yap led the oath-taking ceremony yesterday of Filipinos who successfully passed the Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) conducted in Singapore on 24-26 August 2018.

Out of the 96 who qualified to take their respective licensure examination, 34 professionals passed or 32.64% of the total number of examinees.

The passers represented various professions, including 3 nurses, 6 master electricians, 4 veterinarians, 4 electrical engineers, 1 teacher, 1 environmental planner, 1 civil engineer, and 14 architects.

10 of the successful examinees attended the special oath-taking ceremony held at the Embassy. Witnessing the oath-taking ceremony were Consul Gonaranao B. Musor, Labor Attaché Saul T. de Vries, and Welfare Officer Aniceta G. Cataran.

A potluck gathering followed to celebrate this career milestone.
