The traditional “Simbang Gabi” for the year 2015 started with two (2) separate eucharistic celebrations in Singapore yesterday, 15 December 2015. Fr. Angel Luciano celebrated mass at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea in Yishun while Fr. Charlie Oasan did another at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour at Siglap Hill. “Mary, Most Pure” served as the theme of the day’s celebration. In his brief remarks in Yishun, Ambassador Antonio A. Morales extended his best wishes for the holidays to the Filipino community in Singapore even as he thanked them for their continued partnership and cooperation with the Embassy. He was joined by First Secretary J. Anthony A. Reyes, Labour Attaché Ramon Tionloc Jr. and POLO/OWWA officials. As has been the tradition, representatives of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore will attend the “Simbang Gabi” for its whole duration.
