Officials of Philippine Embassy in Singapore congratulate new graduates of Skill Training Programs

On Sunday, 16 July 2017, officials of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore separately graced the graduation ceremonies of two (2) Skills Training Providers in Singapore. Over at the National University of Singapore U-Town, Ambassador Antonio A. Morales and officials of the Philippine Overseas Labour Office graced the commencement exercises of Alalay sa Kaunlaran, Inc. (ASKI). Meanwhile at the United World College, Minister and Consul General Victorio Mario M. Dimagiba Jr., Third Secretary and Vice Consul Laarni Zorayda Gandarosa and other representatives of the Embassy attended the graduation rites of the Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics (HOME) Academy. In their respective remarks, Ambassador Morales and Minister and Consul General Dimagiba Jr., congratulated the graduates for finishing their training program. They also thanked ASKI and HOME Academy for their efforts in empowering their students with new skills, which consisted mostly of Filipino household service workers. Among other areas, ASKI specializes in providing financial literacy training, while HOME Academy focuses on language training and in caregiving.
