Officials of the Philippine Embassy bid farewell to Malaysian colleague

Officials of the Philippine Embassy Singapore joined colleagues from diplomatic community and representatives of the private sector in farewell events organized in honour of Mr. Nur Azman Abdul Rahim, the outgoing Acting High Commissioner of Malaysia. On Sunday, 2 July 2017, a representative of the Philippine Embassy Singapore teed off in a farewell golf tournament at the Ponderosa Golf and Country Club in Johor Bahru.

On Wednesday, 5 July 2017, Minister and Consul General Victorio Mario M. Dimagiba Jr. and First Secretary and Consul Mersole J. Mellejor joined fellow diplomats from ASEAN diplomatic missions in a farewell lunch at the Agrobazaar along Arab Street Singapore. Mr. Azman conveyed his appreciation to his colleagues for the cooperation and warm friendship during his stint in Singapore. Speaking on behalf of the Philippine Embassy, Minister Dimagiba wished Mr. Azman well on his return to Kuala Lumpur.

The lunch was also an opportunity to bid farewell to other outgoing diplomats from the Malaysian High Commission and the Embassy of Myanmar and to welcome new additions to the ASEAN diplomatic circle in Singapore.
