PH Chocolates and Pili Nuts Featured at the Specialty & Fine Food Asia 2017

19 July 2017 – Malagos Chocolates from Davao and Pili Nuts from Bicol were showcased at the Specialty & Fine Food Asia 2017 which is being held at Suntec, Singapore from 18 to 20 July.

The Specialty & Fine Food Fair, which has been going on in London for 16 years, has now been brought to Asia, which enables entrepreneurs involved in specialty and artisan foods to connect with their buyers.

Malagos Chocolates was represented by Mr. Rex Victor P. Puentespina, Sales & Marketing Head of Malagos Agri-Ventures Corporation and Prime Food Marketing, the distributors in Singapore.

Pili Nuts from Bicol were under the brand ‘Pili Pushers’, which is owned by Singapore-based company, Gourmet Taste Conscious Life (GTCL) Pte Ltd.

Both Malagos Chocolates and Pili Pushers were also given a ‘Great Taste’ seal. Great Taste is the largest and most trusted accreditation scheme for fine food and drink. Established in 1994 by the Guild of Fine Food, the seal is awarded through a blind-taste by panels of specialists, such as top chefs, cookery writers, food critics, restaurateurs and fine food retailers.

Consul General Dimagiba and Consul Musor also stopped by at the booth of GTCL Pte Ltd., which showcases their Pili Nuts products from Bicol. Together with them are the co-founders of GTCL, Terru Tong and Gary Chin.
