Philippine Participant in Singapore Army Command and Staff Course calls on Philippine Embassy Officials

The participant from the Philippine Army in the 48th Command and Staff Course (Army) implemented by the Singapore Armed Forces Lt Col John P Andrada paid a courtesy call on Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio A. Morales and other officials of the Philippine Embassy at the chancery on Tuesday, 10 January 2017. Lt Col Andrada, PA, is said to be the first Philippine participant in the program since 2005. Lt Col Andrada was accompanied during the call by the Philippine Navy liaison officer in Singapore Lt Cmdr Angelito M Diaz and a counterpart officer of the Singapore Army. During the call, Ambassador Morales informed Lt Col Andrada that he is welcomed to participate in activities of the Embassy while he is Singapore. The Ambassador also promised the Embassy’s assistance in helping invite Filipino cultural performers during the courses’ International Officers Night, which Lt Col Andrada is organizing.
