Hail Mary the Queen Children’s Choir performs in Singapore

The Singapore Asian Arts Academy and Choral Moments (group of Singaporean conductors) invited the  Hail Mary the Queen Children’s Choir, with special participation by the local primary school choirs in Singapore, to perform at the SOTA Concert Hall in Singapore on 27 February 2016.

The  Hail Mary the Queen Children’s Choir claims many firsts in choir history: the first Filipino Champion in the Bremen Choir Olympic  in Germany in 2004, the First Children’s Choir of the World in the 67th Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in North Wales, United Kingdom in 2013.  In June 2015, they were the first Asian choir to be invited at the Pacific International Choral Festival in Eugene, Oregon, USA.

A day before their concert, Ambassador Morales hosted the members of The Hail Mary the Queen Children’s Choir, together with Ms. Dinna Sarmiento (project coordinator and co-founder),  Prof. Ma. Theresa Vizconde-Roldan (Conductor), Mr. Jude Roldan (Music Director), representatives of Choral Moments  and accompanying parents to a dinner at the official residence,. The choir played a few musical pieces for an audience consisting of Philippine Embassy officials.

The Ave Maria Children’s Choir Foundation is the operating arm of the Hail Mary the Queen Children’s Choir from the Immaculate Conception Cathedral of Quezon City, Philippines.
