30 June 2023, Singapore – Ambassador Medardo G. Macaraig witnessed today the symbolic handover of Assistance-to-Nationals (ATN) functions from Vice Consul Jhullie Anne A. Beniahan, Head of the Philippine Embassy’s ATN Section to Officer-in-Charge and Assistant Labor Attache Atty. Eduard C. Ferrer of the Migrant Workers Office (MWO)-Singapore.

Pursuant to Republic Act No.11641 or the Department of Migrant Workers Act, MWO-Singapore will now take the lead in providing ATN assistance to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in distress beginning 1 July 2023.

The Philippine Embassy, along with its attached agencies, continues to promote and protect the welfare and interests of Filipinos in Singapore.
