The Philippine Embassy informs our kababayan in Singapore that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Manila has posted on its official website, www.sec.gov.ph, several advisories warning the public about several illegal investment-taking activities in light of the rampant Ponzi schemes and/or alleged investment schemes circulating publicly and online.
Unfortunately, some of the victims of these Ponzi schemes are Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
