The Philippines is represented at the Opening Ceremony of the 8th Singapore International Cyber Week taking place in Singapore from 17 to 19 October 2023 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center. 

Led by Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Ivan John Uy, the Philippine Delegation is composed of officials from the DICT, Department of Foreign Affairs,  National Security Council and Philippine Embassy officials.

The SICW,  organized annually by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA),  is Asia-Pacific’s most established cybersecurity event. With the theme “Building Trust and Security in the Emerging Digital Order”, SICW 2023 will explore the impact of digital developments on the global multilateral order, and how security can be developed to enable trust in the digital and cyber space.

Secretary Uy is also attending the 8th ASEAN Ministerial Conference on Cybersecurity (AMCC) at the sidelines of the SICW.
