(16 April 2024, Singapore) Today, a month ahead of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Philippines-Singapore diplomatic relations on 16 May 2024, the commemorative logo for this milestone year was unveiled in Manila, Philippines following the bilateral meeting between Philippine Secretary for Foreign Affairs Enrique A. Manalo and his Singaporean counterpart, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan.
Minister Balakrishnan is currently in the Philippines for an official visit from 15 to 17 April 2024.
The Philippines and Singapore, both founding members of ASEAN, have enjoyed close, multi-faceted and dynamic relations over the decades characterized by strong economic, security, cultural and people-to-people ties.
