(25 January 2023, Singapore ) Members of the Philippine Embassy’s Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) and the BAC Secretariat receive a refresher course from Vice Consul Teddy Edmund Pavon, who is currently detailed at the APEC Secretariat in Singapore.

Vice Consul Pavon, who served as Head of the BAC Secretariat at the Department of Foreign Affairs prior to his posting in Singapore, provided an overview of the Philippine Government’s procurement laws and discussed procurement planning, budget cycle, procurement methods and other relevant topics.

The refresher course on procurement complements the Embassy’s 2024 Planning Conference which was held on 19-20 January 2023. (END).
