27 April 2024, Singapore – Filipino entrepreneurs and designers made their debut at the Boutique Fairs, a curated 3-day shopping event in Singapore showcasing a wide range of independent and artisanal products such as fashion, accessories, home decor, art, children’s wear and toys, and gourmet food items, among others. It provides a platform for small businesses and designers to offer their unique and often handcrafted goods which are not usually available to local stores..

Flying in from Manila is Filipino brand Annie & Lori; while those based in Singapore include Choisi Par by Chez Suzette owned by Suzette Simon, Chazzy Bear by Chazzy Simon, and Cora, the upcycled jewelry line by Ms. Universe-Singapore 2021 Bernadette Belle Ong, and her collaboration with Singapore clothing line Barehands which works with Afghan refugees in Malaysia.

Held twice a year and attracting both Singaporeans, residents and tourists looking for something special and distinctive, Boutique Fairs offers an alternative shopping experience focusing on quality, craftsmanship, and individuality. Additionally, it incorporates elements of sustainability and ethical production practices, appealing to consumers who value these principles.

Although 90% of their featured vendors are Singapore-based businesses, overseas businesses are also welcome to participate in the fair as long as they have a compelling brand story, offer products that are not widely available in the Singapore market, and carry the values and ethos of Boutique Fairs.

Through participation in this event, Filipino products can gain exposure to a wider audience, leading to new opportunities for collaboration, and cultural exchange between the Philippines and Singapore.

You may still visit Boutique Fairs 2024 at the F1 Pit Building, from 26 to 28 April 2024.
