15 September 2015- A delegation from the Puerto Princesa City Tourism Office, , together with representatives of some twenty-five (25) travel agencies and tour operators from Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, organized a Singapore Sales Mission and Business Meeting dubbed “Puerto Princesa Travel Fair” at the Concorde Hotel, Singapore on 10 September 2015. The delegation from the Puerto Princesa City Tourism Office was composed of Ms. Aileen Cynthia M. Amurao, City Tourism Officer, Ms. Judith B. Manuel, Executive Assistant IV, and Ms. Lalaine B. Gualin, Tourism Operations Assistant.
The Puerto Princesa Travel Fair generated keen interest from big players in the Singaporean travel industry. Philippine Ambassador to Singapore H.E. Antonio A. Morales delivered the Welcome Address. First Secretaries and Consuls Mersole J. Mellejor and Edna May G. Lazaro also attended the travel fair.
The Puerto Princesa City Tourism Office delegation also participated in the Fiesta ng Bayan from 12-13 September 2015 held at the Suntec Convention Centre where they set up a booth to promote Puerto Pricesa as a tourist destination for Singaporeans. END
