11 January 2023, Singapore – The Heritage Academy, led by its CEO and Administrator, Mr. Lau Chai Joo,  paid a courtesy call to the Philippine Embassy in Singapore on 11 January 2023. The group was received by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Joy Anne B. Lai and Cultural and Filipino Community Relations Officer Rosellie L. Bantay.

Heritage Academy, an Edutrust International School based in Singapore, administers the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE), also known as The School of Tomorrow, a Bible-based curriculum in compliance with prescribed ACE procedures. With 83% of its student population being Filipinos, the Academy reached out to the Embassy  for possible future collaborations.

During the call, the Philippine Embassy expressed that it welcomes the proposal from the Academy to educate school children through Sentro Rizal Singapore.

Sentro Rizal aims to promote Philippine arts, culture, and language by engaging the international and local community in the centers’ cultural projects, activities, and resource materials to deepen understanding and enhance appreciation of the Philippines and Filipino culture, generate and nurture culturally-literate and participative communities of overseas Filipinos, and foster mutual understanding and stimulate partnerships between Filipinos and non-Filipino residents of the host countries.
