Art Trek 12 reached its home stretch with the opening of its eighth exhibition on 11 October 2018 at the Goshen Art Gallery and its ninth exhibition on 12 October 2018 at the Miaja Art Collection.
Ambassador Joseph Del Mar Yap graced the opening of the two exhibitions. Members of the diplomatic corps including Ambassador Tao Thi Thanh Huong of the Embassy Vietnam and the Chargé d’ Affaires of the Venezuelan Embassy, Ms. Maria Dionisia Villalba also attended the opening of the exhibits.
Mr. Michael Pastorizo was the featured artist at the Goshen Art Gallery with his exhibition entitled “Between Dreams and Realities – The Art of Michael Pastorizo”. The artist’s “dreamlike” quality of his paintings is supposed to stimulate a similar altered state of consciousness.
The exhibition entitled at the Miaja Art Collection “SEVEN: A Contemporary Filipino Artists Collective Exhibition”, showcased the following equally-talented Filipino artists: Larry Calderon, Pancho Piano, Pierre Patricio, Martin Genodepa, Macouy Mark Conzales, Ed Defensor and Ben Cruz. The exhibition used different mediums of art from installation art, sculptures and paintings.
The exhibitions at Goshen Art Gallery and Miaja Art Collection both ran until 22 October 2018.
