08 March 2019 – To strengthen its presence in the Singapore market, internationally-renowned Filipina designer, Pia Gladys Perey (PGP), was among those featured in an exclusive showcase for Maison de Designer held on 23 February 2019 at the St. Regis Hotel.
First Secretary Gonaranao B. Musor and Commercial Counsellor Maria Cynthia B. Ricafort attended on behalf of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore to support homegrown designers.
Ms. Vission Perey, Chief Operations Officer of PGP, represented her sister Pia during the showcase.
Mr. Firzan Amin, Founder/Director of Maison de Designer, is enthusiastic about carrying PGP in Singapore as it also aims to bring the brand to neighboring Indonesia, which has an even bigger market.
The showcase served as a soft launch of Maison de Designer and was especially curated and hosted by Singapore-based Indonesian socialite, Irvina Hulyer.
Pia’s designs have been featured on the red carpet at the Golden Globes, Grammys, Emmy, and the American Music Awards. Hollywood Celebrities who have worn PGP include Angelina Jolie and Demi Lovato. Vogue UK cited PGP as “a few collections away from becoming a global brand.”
