As part of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore’s Art Trek 17 this year, we share an invitation to visit Vignettes of the Past – Singapore, a solo exhibition by Singapore-based Filipino artist Ronald Gochangco at Serenity Gallery.

Featuring scenes of historic streets, heritage shophouses, and everyday life in Singapore, the exhibition captures the memories, character, and stories that have shaped the city over the years. Through his distinctive use of color and expressive brushwork, Mr. Gochangco offers a nostalgic yet vibrant perspective on Singapore’s evolving urban landscape.

A Filipino architect, interior designer, and artist based in Singapore, Mr. Gochangco’s works reflect the enduring connections between art, heritage, and community which are the values that resonate with the spirit of Art Trek, highlighting the contributions of Filipino artists and creatives in Singapore.
