SINGAPORE, 23 June 2025 – The Philippine Embassy in Singapore congratulates three (3)  of its officers who were promoted to the rank of Foreign Service Officer (FSO) II, namely Ms. Renee Gayle M. Chua; Atty. Joy Anne B. Lai; and Atty. Teddy Edmund T. Pavon.

On 11 June 2025, the Philippine Commission on Appointments gave its consent and confirmation to the ad interim appointments of the above-named officials of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to the rank of FSO II.

The three officials took oath before Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Medardo G. Macaraig on 23 June 2025, coinciding with the 127th Founding Anniversary of the DFA. 

Second Secretary and Consul Gayle Chua heads the Embassy’s Cultural and Filipino Community Relations Section while Second Secretary and Consul Joy Lai supervises the Consular and Assistance-to-Nationals Section, and serves as the focal person for the Philippine Chancery renovation project. Meanwhile, Second Secretary Teddy Pavon is a seconded official of the Philippines to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Secretariat based in Singapore, and serves as Program Director./END
