The Philippine Embassy extends its heartfelt congratulations to 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐲 𝐊𝐨𝐡 on being named a Ramon Magsaysay Awardee for 2026!

Professor Tommy Koh has been a key figure in shaping Singapore’s foreign policy, advancing international law, and fostering peace and cooperation across Southeast Asia. His vision and dedication have also strengthened the long-standing friendship and enduring bilateral relations between the Philippines and Singapore.

The Award, announced annually on 31 August, honors the birth anniversary of the esteemed seventh Philippine President Ramon Magsaysay whose ideals inspired the Award’s creation in 1957.

This recognition also comes as Professor Koh steps down today as Ambassador-at-Large at the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after an extraordinary 55 years of public service.
