- All vital events involving Filipinos abroad must be reported to the Philippine Foreign Service Post (PFSP) with jurisdiction over where the event occurred.
While the Philippine Embassy in Singapore primarily handles events in Singapore, it may accept reports of births and marriages that occurred elsewhere. Applicants must:
Coordinate directly with the PFSP that has jurisdiction to ensure compliance with their requirements.
Pay service fees to the Embassy in Singapore for notarization, handling, and delivery to the appropriate PFSP.
The concerned PFSP will record the event and transmit the report to the DFA.
The applicant’s copy will be returned to the Embassy in Singapore for release.
